Visualise urban form and urban performance tables   1 2

In this section, we will visualize urban performance data in this case pedestrian movement.

  1. Select pedmov.tab map window
  2. Create thematic map A
  3. Step One : Choose Line Ranges default -> Next
  4. Step Two : table = pedmov, Field = 0910_pedmov_hourly -> Next B
  5. Step Three : Ranges= 8, Method = Natural Break -> Recalc – > OK C
  6. Step Four  : Choose Top colour = Red, size= 3, Choose Bottom colour = Blue, Options -> Auto Spread Style by = HSV, Inflection = 2 – > ok D
  7. Created pedestrian movement thematic from red to blue.
  8. Right click windows -> layer control -> check “label tickbox” – > Label … E
  9. Label with : 0910_pedmov_hourly
  10. Created pedestrian movement thematic map with labels
